Haydn is a seasoned financial markets professional with extensive investment banking experience managing institutional investor relationships across global markets. He spent over 13 years at Barclays Capital in London, followed by nearly two years at Natixis Investment Bank as Director of Emerging Market Sales, where he executed transactions in credit, rates, foreign exchange, derivatives, and structured products for leading financial institutions.
Haydn holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town. He has also completed CFA Level I and the UK FCA regulatory examinations

Rohan has a strong finance background, having completed his articles at EY and accumulated over four years of experience at PSG Konsult, where he closely collaborated with the Group’s Senior Executives. He is a qualified CA(SA) and has successfully passed CFA Level II.
Rohan engages with global business leaders and senior institutional investors, ensuring all investment criteria are fulfilled, facilitating a smooth funding process.
Senior Investment Analyst
Warren, with over 18 years of experience at top-tier international investment banks—including Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and most recently as Director and Head of South African Equity Sales at HSBC—serves as the institutional investment advisor to the firm. Leveraging a significant global institutional network, Warren excels in macro and geopolitical investment ideas, consistently ranking in the top 1% of his global peer group for alpha generation. He advises the firm on institutional adoption of investment opportunities, ESG scoring, and anticipated investor engagement.
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance and Economics, a Postgraduate in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town, and completion of CFA Level I. Additionally, he has maintained FSCA regulatory status throughout his investment banking career.
Senior Investment Advisor
Wiaan has over a decade of experience across financial services, tax, and business advisory, with expertise in corporate restructuring, due diligence and complex advisory engagements. As a qualified chartered accountant, he previously led the finance function of a life insurance company and held senior advisory roles, advising corporates on financial and tax matters.
His career spans both professional financial services and in-house finance leadership roles, giving him strong technical depth alongside practical commercial insight.

Nikolai holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science, specialising in Quantitative Finance, from the University of Cape Town. Having passed his CFA Level III, Nikolai is committed to professional growth, and staying at the forefront of industry knowledge. With a strong foundation in finance and a thirst for knowledge, Nikolai envisions a future of personal and professional growth working with institutional investors.
Nikolai is a dealmaker and investment analyst specialising in Renewable transactions within the Commercial and Industrial sectors. He serves as a liaison between project owners and Hillingdale’s institutional investors in Europe and South Africa.

Bradley is an Energy Analyst, bringing experience from his previous role as an Analyst with an international financial services group. Passionate about advancing sustainable solutions, Bradley focuses on sourcing and facilitating strategic investments in the renewable energy sector. He plays a key role in connecting institutional funders with impactful projects that promote clean energy and support impact investing across the sector.
Bradley holds a BCom in Management Sciences and a postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning from the University of Stellenbosch.
Renewable Energy Analyst
Boitumelo Leshoeli is a driven finance professional with expertise in financial statement evaluation, internal auditing, and data-driven decision-making. A recent graduate of the Pre-Masters/ Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) program at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Pretoria, she combines academic excellence with practical experience in both internal audit and accounting.
Boitumelo’s background includes roles at Investec Bank Group, where she gained hands-on knowledge in risk management, compliance, and market analysis, further sharpening her ability to deliver actionable insights to support strategic initiatives.
Corporate Analyst
Simon is an Investment Analyst specialising in the quantitative aspects of the firm’s transactions, including corporate finance modelling. Additionally, he collaborates with Hillingdale’s partner companies on digital asset strategies, including delta-neutral trading strategies. Simon divides his time between Europe and South Africa, addressing various institutional investor needs.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the prestigious Paris-Saclay University, where he graduated first in his class. Currently, he is completing a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics with a specialisation in Statistics at École Polytechnique in Paris, renowned for its excellence in mathematics and engineering.

Thabo holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Cape Town, providing him with a strong analytical and quantitative foundation. With a strong interest in infrastructure and energy markets, Thabo applies rigorous analysis to the evaluation of renewable energy investments.
As an Investment Analyst and dealmaker specialising in renewable energy transactions. He supports the assessment of renewable assets and the structuring and deployment of capital, working closely with project developers and the firm’s investment partners.

Charlotte is pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance and Strategy at Sciences Po Paris. This postgraduate program combines financial markets, corporate finance, and strategy, with a strong focus on contemporary challenges such as the energy transition, digital transformation, and the use of data. Curious and disciplined, she develops an analytical and strategic approach applied to financial and investment decisions during her internship.

Birk is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), one of the leading business schools in the Nordic region. His studies have provided a strong foundation in economic analysis, business strategy and investment principles.
He will pursue a Master’s degree in Finance, further developing his expertise in corporate finance and capital markets.
